- Federal income tax planning for closely held businesses and owners, and compliance review on individual, partnership and corporate tax returns
- Compensation planning and management consulting for professional organizations
- Consulting on business formation, choice of entity and business succession planning
- Estate planning
- Business valuation and economic loss analyses
- Business brokerage including conducting due diligence related to buying or selling a business
- M&A services to mid-market companies
- Planning with regards to qualified retirement plans and employee benefits
- Representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service and state taxing authorities
- Consulting on international tax matters.
Bruce’s clients cover a wide range of industries, including real estate development and management, construction, product distribution, manufacturing and professional services.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, both in the AICPA Tax and Business Valuation Divisions and the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a member of the International Business Brokers Association as well as the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts where he earned his certified valuation analyst (CVA) designation. Bruce is also an active member and former Board Member of the East King County Estate Planning Council.
Recently Bruce joined the Western Washington University College of Business and Economics Advisory Board and serves on their Accounting Think Tank panel. Bruce is continually active with Hopelink on a variety of events and special projects and has been an active volunteer and donor for over 20 years.
In the past, Bruce has served as Chair and Treasurer of the Greater Redmond Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and Treasurer of the International Community School PTSA in Kirkland, Washington. Bruce has been a volunteer in the Lake Washington School District “Lunch Buddy” program and a volunteer children’s coach at the Northshore YMCA. He has also been a virtual mentor to students in the Accounting program at Western Washington University and in 2006 was awarded Outstanding Alumnus and named honorary member of the Theta Phi Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi — the honorary organization for financial information students and professionals.
In addition to his undergraduate work at Western Washington University where he received his bachelor’s degrees in accounting and business administration, Bruce holds a Master of Science in taxation from Golden Gate University. Bruce is also a Registered Investment Advisor and holds Series 7 and insurance licenses.
