Tax Day is Right Around the Corner

Tax FormWith less than three weeks until the April 18th deadline, we are working extended weekday hours and on Saturdays. Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you need early morning, evening, or weekend appointment times.

If we prepare your personal, C-corp (December fiscal year-end), and/or trust return and you have not yet submitted your information to us, don’t worry! We will process an extension on your behalf and then prepare the return as soon as possible after the deadline. Please be aware that filing an extension only extends the filing deadline for the return, it does not extend the amount of time you have to pay any owed tax liability.

We encourage you to send us your information via your client portal. Your portal can be used to securely transfer files to our office and/or access your past returns. If you have any questions or you need your portal login information, please contact us.

We look forward to working with you this tax season!

The Benefits of Paying Your Taxes by Electronic Funds Withdrawal

Paying your taxes is easier than ever with Electronic Funds Withdrawal. It’s convenient — individual and business filers can e-file and e-pay in a single step. It’s safe and secure — payment information is used only for the tax payment(s) authorized. And making an electronic payment eliminates the need to submit a voucher.

Electronic Funds Withdrawal (EFW) is an integrated e-file/e-pay option offered only when filing your federal taxes using tax preparation software or through a tax professional. Using this payment option, you may submit one or more payment requests for direct debit from your designated bank account.

Find out more on the Electronic Funds Withdrawal page of the IRS website.

Falco Sult Supporting the Community

We had a lot of fun getting away from our desks and supporting a great cause a couple of weeks ago. The annual Kirkland Shamrock Run is a fun-filled 5k organized by our friends at Lake Washington Physical Therapy that benefits several local high school booster clubs. Find out more about this fun event and check out the event pictures on their website.

While we were not quite as successful in our attempt to dominate the Hopelink Can Madness food drive, there is still time to donate to the final four local businesses who are still competing. Check out the companies still in the running on the Hopelink website and support your favorite.

Finally, Seattle Humane’s 2017 Tuxes and Tails event is happening on May 13th at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue. The event will feature great food and wine, exclusive auction items, and their popular runway show featuring animal-loving celebs and adoptable pets. Tickets are on sale now!
